I first met Joyce at West Downs School she was the secretary and I was the caterer, many the time I took refuge in Joyce,s office to share a rant and receive empathy. The next time we were reunited at Kings Worthy Day Centre, (which I managed )when she visited with Adrian, although by then Joyce,s short time memory was effected by her illness I know that we still connected through our shared work experience, although I retired 2 years ago I have seen Joyce on my visits & that special smile was still there. Rest in peace my friend the struggle has ended. Dawn.
